looking at upgrading my 33x12.5mtz's to 35x12.5mtz's simply cus ive found a good deal. before going through with this i thought id ask the question. is anyone running 35's on there zd30 gu wagon and if so how does it go?? worse fuel consuption? more gutless then being the worth f the 35's??? i just use my car for general driving dont tow many heavy loads. my zd30 is also stock no exhaust no chip etc. any info is apreciated. any sarcastic feedback is not we know 4.2's are good however they have nothing to do with my question.

Yes it uses more fuel.
Yes its more gutless.

Yes you will notice the difference, it will feel more slugish.

Then you get used to it.

The main thing is that they use more fuel. It doesnt loose too much power, altho I have a chip & 2.75 exhaust on mine to help it along. Also mine is an auto so it doesnt have the same sort of lag that the manuals tend to have. The only reason that I changed the diff gears was to stop the auto hunting between 4th gear & lockup.

Got 35 MTZ's on my 3.0L with Dtronic dont do stuff all town driving so cant comment. On long hiway trips fuel economy is no different does feel a bit more sluggish but nothing anoying. I drive the same 2100km return trip every 2 weeks so I would notice. Low range was terrible though but transfer gears fixed that.
