New springs & poor shackle angle.

Just put some brand new OME springs in the back of the LWB.
New bushes
Stock shackle
No excessive weight in the back.
The shackle angle is nearly horizontal, and they keep going past horizontal and staying there over bumps.
Anyone had this before? I cant figure out why it happening but its extremely annoying, makes the ride really bad.
A quick fix would be longer shackles but i would rather avoid them if i can.

your springs probably just need to set in our lwb shackle angles are past vertical the wrong way makes a rough ride we removed a couple of leaves and just need to drive it a bit.

Mine did the same. You have to make longer shackles. about 20-30mm extra should do it. Made a big difference in the ride and it carries weight better.
Also check the shock length. While its sitting on the ground unloaded, remove the shock/s from the bottom and check that it can still extend about 50mm. You may need to find longer shocks. plenty of info in the Bible. I'm using "hi ace" rears in mine.
But you will need longer shackles.

I would ring the shop you bought them from and ask if you got the right spring??? Doesn't sound like they were designed for a zook.

Your prob' right there Josh, but it seems to be the same on the LWB. Ive never messured a SWB and a LWB. The mounting points might be closer together.

once again, are you confusing the word 'horizontal' for 'vertical'?

So i replaced the bushes and its still doing it.
just to clarify:
New OME springs
New bushes
Stock length shackles
Shocks are not the problem
At ride height shackles are sitting a bit lower than 45 degrees, with any bounce on the car they go past
horizontal and lock up against the chassis.
Seriously seems like the springs are too long, however afaik OME only make one length for the rear.
heres some pics.

With a bit of a bounce:
