solid axle conversion on v8 100 series

anybody seen this conversion in nsw yet had solid axle should not have sold it

ive been thinking this for a while, would be a good combination, just dont know how the v8 goes

already checked out sleeoffroad truck not a 105 axle and has hi steer dont know if this would figure on 3 inch lift not much arch on chassis for anything on top side of diff

the ifs rear diffs are wider so you will need to run wheel spacers.

it would probably cheaper to sell the 100 and buy a 105, then put a v8 into that

would be cheaper to get a 105 and put a LS1 in it

those toyota V8 are damn expensive

I think the Slee one looks pimp!

The front axle in it has Toyota componenets right? (I read about it ages ago and forgot all about it)

You need different sump and oil pick up, and a 6" lift for the diff to clear, with bump spacers.

Christo Slee had the front housing made to suit a rear diff in the front, as part of the conversion.

His estimate to have it done was $20,000 U.S.

Those silver front suspension components look very familiar :D
