HIGH OIL PRESSURE AFTER GOING THRU WATER

HI there,

i was just wondering if anyone knew of wat might be the cause of high oil pressure in 89 swb mav/patrol the oil light is on and oil pressure sits at about 6 to 7 temp sits normal and it sounds like its running fine theres plenty of oil and no water in oil its only since my missus drowned it at lcmp on Saturday would it be caused by electrical short or should i be worried HELP!!

relax .......its the oil pressure sender, its a common problem

just check it with a mechanical gauge this will tell you straight but sounds like the sender

there is a hole in the sender to let air out just let it dry out then plug it up
it will go or it will blow
