V8 60 series

hi guys i was woundering if anyone could steer me into the right direction. I want to put a 253,308,351 V8 into my 60 series. where do i shop or does anyone have a conversion kit for sale. and what roughly will it cost me ??? :)

It will generally cost twice what you budget.
Personally I would go with the 351, anything under the best part of 6 litres will not be worthwhile in such a heavy truck.

CRS are probably the best place to start for conversion gear.

ive got a full marks kit to suit chev into 60 series pm me and ill send some pics ill get freight quote tomorow if you like bellhousing will also suit turbo pattern holden v8 ie308 or injected 5.0l(need different engine mounts) or get dowels re drilled??? and it will suit 253 also but i wouldnt reccomend the 253 in such a heavy truck this hit includes headers and y pipe for chev small block

I've got a marks adaptors kit for a 351 clevo to cruiser manual, have been trying to get it out of the shed for ages.

I thought marks were all GMH or GM?

Their bellhousings are good gear too.

I brought it about 4 years ago (give or take) So don't know if they still do. Only thing missing is the instructions. Shouldn't be to hard to get them.

It's out of a 1982 with a 4spd box. I have the cruiser bellhousing as well. As I have gone to an auto. hope that is what you were after. there is a number on the cruiser housing I will have a look and get back to you
