warn hi-mount

i have a warn hi-mount on my 80 and its abit noisy do u have to check oil levels and sutch in the gearbox
i couldnt find a thread about this but if there is can someone let me know

Where is the problem with punctuation?
It just makes things so much easier to read, and I am sure an answer would come so much quicker.
Out of those 35 plus views, I'll bet at least 10 people could have answered this, but decided "stuff it, he doesn't care enough so why should I!"

Whats wrong with looking in the bible? There's about 3 or 4 threads in there about Hi Mounts.

I've rebuilt a few high mounts, and I got most of the tech details from good ol Google.
There is a few very complex rebuilds wih photos giving you ALL the
info you will need.
Seek and you shall find
but in short yes they take oil 250mls from memory
if you dont have a drain bung and fill hole you will have to take the
top hat off and syphon the old oil out or roll you truck over to spill it out the old oil, then refill and seal back up.
Warn suggest an old grade of oil equivelent to mower oil but you can use anything, I used to mix engine oil and thick diff oil but anything will do.
