diff centre swap

will the centre out of my79 lux go into a coil diff from a turbo diesel surf, 89 mod

Which diff??? There are alot of different diff combo's for both vehicles.

yes it will
i know this because both front and rear diffs in a79 are the same and only one end of a surf has coils
and i have run a 1980 center in my 80 lux with a 89 surf coil housing in the rear
