Gday,

i just have some questions on the cav style fuel filters, i know that there all use on trucks and tractors but how do they go on engines like a 1hz (aftermarket turbo and its what looks like 2 fuel filters one with the pump and a second?)?

im thinking about replacing the standard on mine is there replacement housings available? and are they any better than standard? Is it an easy job to do a swap if possible?

Cheers

Plenty of info there, and also search for CAV on this forum, basically you are better to stick with original filters as you keep the water trap feature, on the 75 series motors there is a primary (coarse) and secondary (fine) filter, the fine stage is what you change at the standard 20k interval, the coarse probably double that.

If you want to swap, plenty of housings available and it would be an easy job, no harder than changing the filters :D
