Hi guys,
Going to grab a set of stock rear hilux leaves tomorrow, and just wondering what kind of leaf pack are you running?
I will have the stock rear set and a 2" lifted set of fronts to mix and match.
Cheers, Aidan.

Im about to make up some RUF packs as well. Im not after too much height in the front. Im thinking of starting by removing the overloads and adding two leafs from a front pack I have - they are thin and flexy.
I think its pretty much a trial and error process.

Was just hoping someone would have a baseline I would start with.
Looks like a good job for tomorrow night

Standard main and wrap from the rear. Add the 3 lower leaves from the original front pack. That's a good starting point. If ya got a diesel you may have to add another leaf.
If ya step them down evenly it will work better. Also clamp each stage of the rear of the spring. This will stop a lot of axle wrap and braking shit.

Cheers guys, I will have to add a few extras as the standard RHS front has sagged with the weight of a winch and bar

let us know how you go, i got part way through mine the other day and had to go back to standard
I was just going to remove the longer 2 load leaves and see how it went.
I swear my front rhs is sagging further every day at the moment. to the point i have double checked to see if my tyre is leaking.

My front leaf pack is 7 leaves (I think) @ 6mm thick stepping down in length equally so that the shortest is only about 400mm long. 2 clamps at the rear and one at the front.
But that's just from memory......

Here is what I have came up with so far.
Any advice?
1st, 2nd, and 3rd from the rear pack, 4 and 5 from the front pack, and the bottom thick leaf from the rear pack cut down a bit.

What leafs were you going to cut down?
Thats why I used a few of the ticker ones from the rear. I haven't managed to get them both in yet but hopefully it will be right

I mucked around with second hand leaf packs for ages with no great results. Ended up buying some brand new 2'' rears from arb, took the large load carrying spring out and left the small one in, then added 3 standard leaves to the drivers side and one to the passengers side.
Been running those packs for over 3 years and still running smick.
