Ok...the Feroza is going to be getting ALL new suspension in the next month. What brand does everyone recommend, have you had success with it and how much did it cost you? I am redoing everything (torsion bars, leafs etc etc)

Kell what's your aim with replacing everything? eg increased lift, better ride etc.
You may be wasting money replacing everything depending on what you want to do?

The off-the-shelf TJM kit is too stiff. Ultimate Suspension is a good kit. My set-up was a mix-match, with cutom leaf springs, lifted torsions, and TJM shocks. You can repalce the torsion bars with stiffer ones if you want.
Mine all up was about $1k.... Ultimate suspension kit with new torsion bars and Koni's are about 1600 i think.

Koni's are no longer made to fit the Feroza- I tried to buy a set for mine 12 mths ago. The only way to get a set is to send your old shocks to the Aussie distributor and they can custom build a set to suit (big $$$).
Kell you can get your rear springs reset, but I don't know how successful that is long term. AFAIK all the aftermarket springs for the rear are raised- so do you want it raised as well or standard height?
The earlier model Ferozas had heavier duty rear springs in them, eg. my '92 model are five leaf from memory. Yours, being a later model, probably only has the single leaf.

If you intend on lifting, get new everything all round in a kit....ive had my springs reset and one added- for lift purposes but it has settled down probably an inch after a few months, i should have paid the extra $ and brought a complete kit, tough dog was the one i would have gotten, i was quoted for the tough dog kit including new springs, torsion bars and shocks all round + fitting for $1500. But i chose to get them reset and rancho 5000 shocks and just wind up original torsion bars for $1000 ....anyhow see how you go compare some prices....You may as well lift it would be a waste of money otherwise

Dont touch Ironman, they're nearly as shitty as Kumho tyres.

I've got Pro-Comp shockies and enforcer custom springs, they work well together on the zuk, also they are cheap & good quality.
