gear box compatibility

with rb30 in lwb gq 1990 modle what other gear boxes can fit will a vl 5 speed fit
I think the patrol rb30 box is the same as vl turbo box, not plain vl. It has been discussed here here before.
choppa1978 I think had info in his rb26 gq buid up thread in member section.
