Gen3 county - What gearbox

Well im putting a gen3 into my county but keep coming across issues working out which gearbox to use, so far i have looked at the L95 and other rover boxes but run into issues with clearance for the flywheel unless i take alot off the bellhousing, i have also looked at using a t56 with a lt230, but that is pretty complex and the t56 may not handle 4wd anyway, theres heaps of auto options but i really dont want an auto.

Can anyone suggest anything else? i have been told the Tremec TKO600 would be a good box to use, but they seem pretty rare and very expensive, others have mentioned using patrol or toyota boxs but i want to retain my rover transfer case...

Thanks

Mick.

The only viable option I can think of is patrol gearbox adapted to an lt230. I believe LRA did a conversion kit to do this. Then there are heaps of kits to connect gen 3 to patrol gearbox.

I hadn't heard much about these until you made me look them up. Nice ratios, geez... 6.34:1 first gear is pretty decent.

is that the 4 speed or 5 speed variant? can you get a belhouseing to suit a ls1? what are they worth? someone else suggested them to me as well but that was a 4 speed
