79 lux ,32" silverstones, 308 an 5spd
changed ratio from 4.8 to 4.3
I got the power to turn them just needed a bit better economy to be able to afford to wear them out

yeah got 32s.
you wont notice much difference really.
your revs will sit 3.5% lower at any given point so sweet fark all. no need to change ratios for such a small increase.

i had 31's on my 95lux (3L-slow in the first place) then put a set of 33's on it. didnt make fuck all difference on the road.. but as soon as i was in the bush in low trying to crawl i noticed the difference alot.
defentally have to change ratio's when i go to 35's..
But with the standard power on your 2.7 and only 32's i probably wont even notice the difference..

Have a Runner with a 3Y on 32' tyres,
will push it up to 140 with out a problem,
little bit slower on take off, but unless you are trying to beat V8's of the line it will not be a problem...

get some 33's, more useful off road and the motor will deal with the ratios good enough.

4.88 is outa the old petrols, they come in a million ratios, 4.3, 4.5,4.88 , 5.2 outa hiaces. depends on the motor and fuel type.

92 hilux dual cab, fitted with everything that would make it 33% heavier. 32's pushed along with a 2.8l deisel running a safari turbo 11psi, snorkel, k&n filter, and 2.25 exhaust with no mufflers. Backed by a g52 5 speed.
Offroad - happy
onroad- happy
breaking- aint they all farked anyway
spedo correction- 95kmh is realy 100kmh
Tyre clearence - 2in spring lift, scrubs the fronts offroad when flexed to max. but if they don't touch they aint big enough.
towes me camper trailer no worries.
Hope this helps.
