When it comes to wiring, bigger is always better.

I have about 5 big earth cables on mine. From battery to body and chassis, then some from engine to chassis/body seperate etc. I just bought the Matson green cables from the Auto shop, any of the thick ones in Supercheap or Repco should do, just use enough.

battery cables I have always found that bigger is better even for jumper leads. Try going to your local BOC or welding supply shop and buy some decent cable from there. Its better quality, better insulated and a lot of the time cheaper than some of the rubbish you buy from some auto shops.

For a set of heavy duty leads go with a min of 50mm2 lead or bigger. Thats 50mm square area of copper cross section.
