Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey guys;
I've got an old GME TX472S UHF, one with the front mount speaker.
It appears to work fine except that it doesn't appear to have much volume, the volume knob works fine, in that it get louder and softer, it's just that loud isn't very loud, especially when mounted in a 60 series Cruiser.
I have tried plugging in an external speaker, but that is no louder, any idea's?

hmm probably time for a new radio bud, or mount the speaker closer to ya ear, those 472's are very long in the tooth these days and many parts arent available for them anymore

I agree that it is getting on a bit but just hate to throw something out that is still working, albeit a bit softly.

Ive got a new gme 4400 and its hard to hear in an old diesel hilux I dont think there is any thing wrong with yours.
