Hey,
As we all know the GQ/Maverick is getting a bit old, so has anyone replaced the rubbers($600 from Nissan when i last checked).
The metal has rusted fairly badly, and i was thinking of maybe putting a different window in, maybe a Pajero rear, if cheaper for the rubber. Other option is to get some Lexan, and make a "H" rubber surround and fit that (no sliding window, maybe ADR related prob'?)
If someone knows of a cheaper option, i am more than happy to listen.
Cheers
Daz

GQ sliding window rubbers
glass
pretty sure the rule is if you have the 3rd row seats you must have opening window. only in aust this rule.
just replace the rusty windows with the fixed glass and rubbers out of an import or the mq wagons are the same, i have them in mine.
they are very easy to remove and replace with 2 people.
good luck

only the first roll hurts, then its a ride..
do a bit of ringing around, i managed to source some new aftermarket fixed glasses for them from a mob here in dubbo and you can just use generic 'H' seals to fit them, however if you want to keep the sliding windows you can get the frames off ebay sometimes for about $200 each and you just swap your current glasses into the new frames.
P.S. the frames come with rubbers.

Cheers guys, thanx for the replies. Genuine price was for the rubbers, i nearly fell over in shock.and that was for the outer only.
