Just wanted to know if anyone has put a L.S.1 into hilux?

Is it worth the hassles?

Nope, you'll break absolutely everything..

I have seen one on ebay, was for sale as a abandoned project, So not sure is that was because it was engine troubles or not.

I think it would be do-able, Would be a tight fit.
I wouldn't even bother trying to put a amnual box behind it, will smash gears non stop.

With the auto wouldn't be to bad depends on how you drive. Rear end should hold up, But the front end may need some work (hi pinion diff, longfields, etc.
At worst may need to look at putting cruiser rear diff, or maybe 9" inch if you drive it hard. Mine survived behind a 240KW twin turbo six.

Thanks guys. Yeah would run a auto and prob cruiser diffs if i did the conversion.

A rebuild and a turbo on my motor is looking all better..
