Need help with Sierra Fuel / Carbi issues

Hi all.
3 Small problems i need help with.
1 - On long steep up-hill runs I've noticed that the engine occasionally mis-fires, its not a major problem, and its never stopped me but i'd like to know if this is normal (ie. just a 'carbi thing'). If not, what could be the problem?
2 - I stopped for lunch on saturday, and parked the sierra on a steep up-hill slope. It was there for approx 45 mins. When i got back to it after lunch, engine started fine but would not rev past 2000rpm for a minute or so, after that it seemed fine. Could the fuel have drained from the bowl? Again, is this normal?
Im guessing problems 1 & 2 are related. Does it sound like fuel pump? Is there a fuel pump in the tank, or just the mechanical pumP?
3 - As the weather is getting colder, the sierra is getting harder to start in the mornings. Some mornings it takes a bloody lot of cranks to get going, occasionally i give it a couple squirts of Aerostart down the snorkle tube, and other mornings it will start ok.
The problem seems worse when the car has been sitting for a few days. I drive it daily to work, and its left for 8 hours and when i start it in the afternoon it starts perfect....
What could be causing the hard starts? Could the snorkle (recently fitted) be making the problem worse?
Thanks,
Mike
