Hey All,
Ever since I dropped the LR tank in, could never get the sender unit to work properly, as the unit wasn't suited to the depth of the tank, and it also kept catching on one of the baffles for some reason. I've managed to make do and just use km's as an indication of fuel level since the install (never ran dry would you believe!).
Just tidying up the Pajero for sale and wondering what to do with the fuel gauge. There is the option of getting a 2nd hand sender from a wrecker, get charged a fortune and potentially have the same problem again or going aftermarket with a universal unit with a separate gauge included. I have read that using cross-manufacturer units don't work due to the ohm of each unit?
Just seeing whether anyone has any experience or advice to offer.
Cheers,
Jayden
