CLUTCH ISSUES- LN106 HILUX! PLEASE HELP!!

Hey guys -
Just put a new motor in my lux, and decided to do the clutch also.
I had the flywheel machined, new spigot bearings, and a HD clutch kit from PBR which i bought at repco.
Fitted it all up, and found that the clutch was only half disengaging, and that going from neutral, foot all the way on the floor, it wouldnt select any gears. i turned the car off, clutch to the floor, selected first and started the car back up and the car began to go forward slightly, like i was riding the clutch.
I bled the clutch, still didnt fix it. I then began to think maybe i put the clutch plates in wrong, so i dropped the box again for re-assurance.
So now, i know that the plates are DEFINITELY in the right way (according to the manual for the clutch, and the hilux repair manual), the fork and throw bearing are in the right way, and ive bled the clutch with no air in the lines.
What else can it be???? is there any adjustment i can make to make it disengage all the way? It all worked before i pulled the motor out with the old clutch (it was shagged though..) and now i cant seem to make it work now
Any help will be muchly appreciated. John
