how many many Km are people getting out of a tank with the 22R 2.4L hilux petrol engine?

bout 500kms per tank on my bundy with a 22R.

bundera tank is 90 litre, I'd say 13 litres/100km is pretty ok for a hilux. I used to get about 14 - 16litres/100km in my 22R bunderas

I'm averaging 10.75 litres per 100k's on a trip. Haven't got an around town figure yet.

is this vehicle modified? ie lift, big tyres etc? if it is near stock that is pretty awful economy for a turbo diesel lux. my diesel 80 with aftermarket turbo gets simiar economy to that!

a stocker 2.4 turbo lux should get about 8 litres/100km

xtra-cab hilux, 22R 2.4L petrol, 69L tank, large rubber...
just under 14L/100km using Premium Unleaded

...and that's with dragging brakes, needs a tune-up too :oops:

djmickyg.....im getting about 14l/100km with my truck but mines a TD modified with the stocko tank but running mongrels (35') but goes to shit when hitting it hard
