HI Guys, I have a querry and I know you will be able to help....
What is the difference between the Suzuki Sierra & Holden Drover??
Is it similar to the Nissan Patrol/Ford Maverick, where is is just the badges or are they completly different vehicles with a similar look??
I am not looking to start WW3 here, just get an idea if sierra parts would fit on a drover and vise versa....
Thanks

Dash is same as sierra but drover did have holden and drover badges on dash and steering wheel.
also i found that it was easier to find a drover with tach dash then a sierra in the NT's

the dash had very minor differences, no clock, and the arrangment of the dials were different. However they both chopped and changed their minds a lot. Ive had both sierra and drover NT SWB.

What model drover did u have?
I have a hightop deluxe, mine had the standard clock, and same dials as a NT sierra a mate had, even had cloth interior and 4 speakers

Soft top drovers were available in a super cheap spec that had plastic 1/2 doors, no tacho and low back seats from memory.

Google is your friend
I have a set of these doors in my shed. They are getting cut into "proper" 1/2 doors.
Droopypete also has a set.

Mine is a soft top drover, full door but.
On the rego papers, its a Holden Ute.
I call her a suzi, as everyone I know refers to them as a square light suzi.

Yeah, I've got a Drover (called Tugboat coz it snatched my Pajero out of a huge mud hole) and I have done everything to it (more or less). I also have a Sierra of the same year that i'm wrecking, and apart from the badges and headlights, they're totally identical. I have put a Suzuki engine in my Holden, a suzuki gearbox and a suzuki clutch into it as well. Like I said- totally identical!

in the dash there are small differences.
notice its not smooth like the sierra
the clock was swapped in from my old sierra.
notice the indicators are up the top rather than on the bottom strip like the sierra. The water and temp are on the right hand dial, the arrangements are slightly different. No tacho either, thats why I swapped my drover dash into the new LWB, as the jimny engine doesnt have a tacho.

Yeah, the step in the top of the dash moulding just puzzles me - I can see no reason why the drovers are like this - It even looks dearer to make the dash like this - more parts and assembly.
