What year has it got on the compliance plate ??? I paid 23k for my 2004 st with 100000 on the clock. A lot of people are going to bag the 3.0lt due to the earlier ones blowing up !!! I think it was 02 when they came out with the improved 3.0lt.

Cheers

Do a search on Handgrenade, that will change your mind.
4.2 is a much more reliable engine, thats why the 3ltr is alot cheaper.

$19500, 03 3lt. 60000kms, winch, dual batteries, rhino rack, IPF, Dual spare carrier, UHF.
Immac cond.
Became mine 4 months ago.

The 3lt can be looked after, just add the right gauges, drive properly and be aware of the issue/s.

Good buying at that price. This is what you would expect to pay at the moment as is difficult to sell anything due to people not spending !! 26 is way to much but $19500 I would jump at it.

Also agreed if you look after the 3lt it will be fine !!!

Wouldn't it depend on whether the previous owner also looked after it?

The case with all used cars, can never be positive how it has been treated/maintained

True, but it would worry more with a car that clearly has some very, very marginal engineering that is vulnerable to catastrophic engine failure without any forewarning.

You own a Triumph STAG and you warn about catastrophic engin failure without forewarning!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :D :D :D

But seriously, I've owned a 2001 GU ZD30 from new with no dramas.
