Has anyone had experiences with tc with reduction gears twist and damage mounts etc with the extra stresses involved?
What are some of the ways to stop this happening?
Cheers

Many people have had this happen. Most get an aftermarket mounting sistem like a Mighty kong, calmini, spidertrax or rocktoy ring and beef up the brackets off the chassis.
I use a mighty kong with the unbreakable gorilla grip mounts (no longer available afaik).

Should work well. they will be std size, 1" and 2" lifted ones. We are testing now.

I just simply reinforced the original mounts, but filleting the small one, and welding on some 20x20 RHS lengthways on the long one, never had any problems. Still using oem rubber mounts too.

Fitted a std setup today in one of my stock zooks with Greg (Just_cruizin).
So far so good. Little bit of mucking around (being the first one fitted) but overall these look likethey will work. They will be avail as a std height, 1" and 2" heights. All bolts washers and full instructions will come with kit. I'll leave this now and let Greg do the rest. From what Greg has been telling me there are quite a few zook lovers waiting for these.

As Bruce has said we have finally got a couple of sets in the R&D stage, we really need to get out and punish them to ensure they hold up to everything we throw at them. Just be aware though this modification will not be reversible. Not my preference when doing mods but this one unavoidable to get a 100% result.
This will be bullet proof if installed correctly and will available in three sizes, standard, 1" and 2".

Not reversable at all? Is it welded on or something?

You need to drill 25mm holes in the chassis mounts and transfer brackets.
