i have asked this before on a few forums but never really got the answers i need

i want the put a box out of a 1hdt 80series into my 78 series troopy
i can work out everything but i will have a bit of a headache if the crossmember dosent bolt up

i know how to get everything else done but need to make sure that will work

as this box is full time i will sell the full time transfer and get a part time one and put it on

thanks

I think the answer is yes, though drive shafts will probably need to be custom items.

dow50r might know, shoot him a pm.

I can't see why it would be different from replacing the R151F in a 105 series which has been done plenty of times and is a bolt in conversion.

Gday
Another guy on here has done just this....hdft and 5 speed in a hzj75...the fzj75 (4.5) came std with h150 grbox and part time (dx) transfer...if u can get those parts needed from one of them, it will be bolt in.
