If you only want a yes or no answer then defiantatly NO.

They are not all the same but they are all interchangable to a degree.

Bearing sizes vary throughout the years, There are differences in the casings both in size and strength thoughout the years, Ratios vary throught the years and models and tailshaft flanges also vary throughout the years.

diff

Post by Outer Limits Hilux »

depends what motor the 95 has in it. if its v6 no, if 4 cyl yes. what is your trans/axle code on both vin plates? the one on the firewall...

this will tell if your ratios are the same. if they diff tell me and i'll tell you what your ratios are.
Wanted.... 4.88 or 4.56 front GQ diff center. Also wanted... GQ rear diff complete.

It's a 2.8 desiel. The diffs I'm looking at have 4.88 ratios are they transferable?? I didn't think they had v6's in any of the solid axle lux's

chances are your diffs are 4.3 not 4.88, but if you get your trans axel code off your comp plate you can check for sure.

you can get the locker put into your center by a specialist for about $330, or if your can find a knowledgable outers helper it might be a little cheaper. serch up one of my threads from about a week ago. dumbdance is the local in the know in sydney ;)

I 'think' he's answering in regards to the rears. V6 4Runners have an 8" centre but it's different and much much stronger than the Lux. But they have IFS fronts.
