Will 80s diff bits swap into a 100s rear housing??

Post by luxembuger »

Hey all, I'm currently swapping a 100s diff into the rear of my lux. It'll be a piece of piss they said... yeah right! Couple of dramas, firstly the 100 has 5 stud wheels, secondly 15in rims don't fit over the 100s brakes. So because I have the 100 housing already i'm wondering if the 80 bits will fit the housing, such as the brake assy and axles etc. Any tips are appreciated!!
Cheers, Chris.

im pretty sure the brakes will fit (but obviously u will need the 80 hubs) but u cant fit 15" wheels on the rear of a post 93 80 anyways... ...

and because u have used the 80 hubs u would need to use 80 axels. (not sure if spline is the same) or put 10mm studs in the 80 hubs...

I see, thankyou very much CC and thanks also for answering the Q I forgot to include in my post about which model 80 15in rims would fit onto... Well looks like a few more bits n pieces to collect yet.
Cheers again CC.
