I think BBM is it in OZ but if you're not set on Bushwackers then these flexible version of Calmini's might be worth a look which are cool as you can't break them http://www.bossproducts.net.au/contact_us.htm They have just appointed a new Distributor and Sierra ones should available again in a week or so.

Here's the Calmini ones so you can see what they look like http://www.puresuzuki.com/fenderflares.htm but they are rigid

P.S. They should be a better price than the Bushwackers too

US ebay has a fair few sets of bushwakers or just stock jeep flares cheap as long as the freight wasnt too stupid.

I agree that the bush wacker looks better but are also alot dearer when i have seen them.

I'd be interested in knowing what they'll be worth if you'd like to post it here. Cheers!

They are not as strong as suggested to a point, i had them on the mud4b and before putting them on we decided to see if they were as tough as they advertised, so we walked on them first (not a problem) then we thought we would drive over them (again no problem with a 37" over them) so on they go..

Once out to lcmp i hit a small tree (around a inch thick) going crawling and it ripped one clean off, the other side done the same thing on the 3rd day, they are not strong with front ways force (headon to the flare) and just rip the eyelets out. other than that i was very impressed with them.

cheers mark.

Yeah I have had the eyelets on mine repaired with a plastic welder after a few tore out. If you can't protect them behind side bars I would use something else.

The flexible Calmini style flares are pretty much indestructible.

I've seen them pressed totally flat against the body... the body might not come back but the flares do.

The only problem is they always seem to be about 1" too narrow for our cars.

I don't like the look of bushwackers, and I detest TJ fronts jammed on sierras, but TJ rears all around look fine IMHO.

JK rears (heavily trimmed) might be cool too.

Steve.

how wide are they ? ive been thinking about getting new flares but a lot of driving i do sees a bit of side scrubbing and im worried that if i got the rigid bushwhacker ones they would just get as demolished as my stock flares are now...

dayam nice ride mate

i'd prefer the bushranger flexiflares myself as they are a lot more durable than the rigid stuff.

unfortunately never had a chance to fit them on my zuk as i'd ended up selling it soon after. i've got two boxes of it waiting for a buyer in the for sale thread now! haha
