What Gearbox to use for a 2LT Lux

Post by ausyota »

I have picked up a 2L-T for cheap cheap to use in my new Bunky Lux.
It came with a gearbox that the bloke I bought it off said was a W52 (after looking around on the net I think it may be a W56).
The Lux currently has the naturaly aspirated 2L in it with a G52 box.
Whick is better to use and why?
Cheers
Paul.

Ok the W box I got given with the motor looks as though it takes a top shift transfer, where the G52 takes a forward shift.
It means it will probably be a lot less farking around to just leave the G52 in place and just swap the motors.
