I think you mean R30 Skyline. In japan (and possibly NZ) they had a turbocharged, efi 'L' series engine. I think it was an L24et.
The R31 Skyline has the 'RB' series of engines, which are all cross flow.

expanding, on this, and just an idea, you could look for a standard set of header of a VL commadore, or a skyline (both fitted with the RB30 motors) and see if they match/bolt up. IF! they do, well, the turbo mainfold will bolt up also....

the MQ has an L series. Not an RB30.
the R30 Skyline with the L20ET engine has the turbo (and efi) gear that you need.
thanks

the RB30 is just an off shoot from the L series, just get a R31 cheap give the motor the once over replace everything that needs it and bolt it into the trol, getting the car you get everything you need,
finding those L20ET manafolds, would be a chicken dance, i tried a long time ago for a Z24, they did exist but in 20 years theres not much left, except in someones collection that hasn't seen light for some years.
a RB30 install gets you that power boost you want as well as a turbo option later on, and RB turbo kits are a dime a dozen, cause all the little boys want the VL turbos
