lengthening maxi lines

recently lifted my rangie a bit more and as the maxidrives were put in by previous owner at stock height the vacuum actuator lines are now quite tight so i'm looking at lengthening the front and re-routing them along the front radius arms.

just wondering is this were most people run them, mine were out the side near the shock tower and straight down, this ment they had to stretch in length, least along the radius arms the will never have to alter in length.

also what would be the best way to create a strong waterproof join, as it would have to be under the car somewhere and i really dont want the engine sucking in water in a river/boghole etc. or getting caught and pulling the join apart!
looking at something more secure then a vacuum hose joiner!

Cheers,
Cal.

To join the vacuum tube, use the clickfit airline (or plumbing) connectors, and yes I ran mine down the firewall and forward along the inside of the radius arm (held in place by a couple of hose clamps), then across the back of the diff etc. I clad my tubes in that bendy electrical stuff used for wiring. 2 years and still no damage.
