I don't think you'll go wrong either way.

15 inch rim, the 35inch has more sidewall - better for low pressure rock crawling.
16 inch rim, the 315 has less sidewall - better for on road driving.
But not much difference either way

as said - not too much difference... IMHO i reckon the 15" rim (especially 15x10's) with 35" tyres look a little too much like donuts on the vehicle and will attract the boys in blue attention a little more than the 16" & 315's. It just looks a little more in proportion.
I got the 315's on 16" dress aloys for on road and light offroad duties and 35's on 15" steel beadlocks for serious offroad play... best of both worlds i think without having a gearing difference due to different sizes daily driving to play. (hope that makes sense)

Depending which GU you have, 15's maynot fit. so 315's are your option..
if your looking at it from a purely $$ side of things, 15inch tires are always cheaper, but not always better.

also there is a difference in max weight load ratings on both.
More sidewall to slice isnt always a good thing... Stick with the 315's.
