ARB CKMA12 into GU

Hi fellas,

Just wondering if anyone here has fitted one of the ARB CKMA12 air compressors into their GU engine bay? I just picked up one today but don't have a whole lot of room to fit it with the dual batteries in there. I might be able to relocate the vacuum pots for the booster and make a bracket to mount it in the back passenger side corner of the bay, but I'm not sure yet. Any ideas/pics would be great!

Cheers.

This is the most common place to put them.. under seats. Or in rear cargo area.

I put mine under the washer bottle, bolted to the inner guard.. and then extended the intake past the battery... fits really well

+1 vote for mounting it inside your vehicle instead of in the dust, dirt and mud of the engine bay.

Thanks for the replies guys, wasn't expecting so many! :)

Animal your pic doesn't work for me? I'm pretty keen to see what you've done!

For the guys who have them inside, do you have the air fitting for your tyres remote mounted outside the car or do you just air up with your door open?

Cheers.

Well after plenty of mucking around I ended up mounting it under the passenger seat, it fits perfectly and is still easy to hook the air line up to. Just gotta finish wiring it up and it will be all good.
