Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi guys. I own a 1999 Toyota Landcruiser which has an automatic transmission. I bogged it about 3 months ago. Recently the centre differential light has been coming on without any reason and I can feel that the vehicle is not as smooth running as it should be. I have been told that this could be an electrical problem. Has anyone had the same problem and does anyone know the solution to this.

Might want to post in the Toyota section mate, it gets more traffic and make specific reply's.
I'm no expert, but I'd be checking the switch on the transfer, as it could be shorting out or full of mud.
