lsd V open gears

is there any difference between the crown wheels on a lsd center to a open center

like thickness i no there is front to back this a thickness drifference

but is there on lsd to open

I can't really understand your question.

If I have kind of got it right, from my experience I have changes crown wheels from an open diff on to a LSD diff and had no dramas,

These were 60 series diffs.


What model diffs are you talking about?

All the same front to rear lsd to open. Ive got same model and have put LSD in both ends and front diff in rear.

the gear set is the same

it is only the centre that changes

Because they wear out very fast. So all the effort of installing an LSD is wasted after a few 4wd trips

If you want more traction you will be disapointed with an lsd save a few dollars and get a locker.

And you will be surprised how much they sell on ebay for (just the hemisphere) ;)
