TB45 loss of power?

for a while now (it happened before but fixed itself somehow
)
ive had a problem reving past 3000rpm...
from idle to 3000 its fine but just as it reaches 3000 it sort of struggles and then comes good again after 3100 up until redline/limiter
but lately after 3100 is seems to have less power than it used to and still struggles a little bit intermittantly.
i havnt been driving much for the last few months but now with the colder weather im driving more so the problem annoys me more and i need to figure out what it is and fix it.
it becomes a real PITA when towing something heavy and holding 110kph up hills on the freeway etc.. as 3000rpm in 5th is 120 and when i drop back to 4th around the same rpm i loose power and end up doing 70-80k
ive changed all the plugs, checked the leads and they are all ok, changed the fuel filter, cleaned the air filter (K&N) regularily use injector cleaner in the tank, done the timing (and then sent my timing light for a ride with tht clutch fan about an hour ago
) reset the computer numerous times (disconnect the battery)
anyone got any ideas? anything else i should check?
