G`day Shane.,
Ok Ok seriously.... what kind of noise are you describing?...
understand that your vehicle ... and mine came out before sound deadening, so they will be loud compared to late model 4wd`s..... come on mate we need more info than that to help you...

apparently alot of the noise comes through the bonnet and glass area as well as fire wall. so sound deaden the bonnet if you can and also put something on the fire wall and floor on the inside. have you carpeted it? if so add deadening undeaneath, if not do anything as it will all help.

spend some time trolling the net, chances are that some one makes an underbonnet deadener specifically for your truck. I have seen them before available for all sorts of cars.

Jay car would be another place to go, esspecially for inside the cab, as they sell deadening stuff at reasonable prices. Infact I think i once saw that they had stuff suitable for up to 200deg which would also work under the hood - i remember looking once to use on a mates mini.

it realy helps to put down a couple of thick coats of underbody deadner to make the tanks alittle bit quieter however to do a good job of it you realy need to have either taken the cab off the vehicle or removed all the items that get in the way. I sprayed around 4ltrs on the underside of the cab and half way up the fire wall. This made a considerable diffrence to cab noise i also looked around for some soundproof underlay and found that clark rubber of all places sold the stuff off the role. I cut it into shape and put it under the carpet and upp the insifde of the firewall this made a huge diffrence to cab noise almost to the point of a new car.

As AZZA'S HJ47 said. The best place to go is to clarke rubber. They have sound deadening, but I chose to use their Nitrile foam instead. It's more expensive, but I already had a sheet, from when I was re-doing all the vents and air ducts. Nitrile foam tends to last longer than that shit they use at the factory.

Cheers guys.... I have been looking around for sound deadener myself.... never thought about going to clark rubber though... I went to a rubber suplier here in Melbourne they showed me some stuff that would be great... but the price was $150 per metre...I need 5 metres so I didn`t buy from them.
