1 headlight is super bright the other is super dull???

wat would cause this? the right headlight is bright and normal the left is really dull
??? i dont know how to fix it as they are 2 brand new headlights and 2 brand new globes i upgraded the sierra sealed beams to H4 semi-sealed.
could it be a bad earth? or conection? maybe change the h4 connectors?
cant see why only one is bright??
can anyone help?

My guess is a bad earth.But test everything

lol mine are brand new havnt seen the road yet (sierra is unrego'd being ready'd for RWC) so its definitly not mud...

Had the same problem in my sierra. One of the headlight fuses was blown. Sounds wierd but I swapped the fuses around and the other light went dim instead.

When you use the pass lights, eg pull the light lever back, do both the light go bright.

had same prob few months ago. checked everything i could find and still no fix. so i made a headlight upgrade with new proper wiring and relays and ran it off the good light and bright as now and i can put higher wattage bulbs in if i want. if u dont know how to wire one up yourself u can buy them, plug in and your away. cost anywhere from $80 to $140 on here or ebay etc. better than paying that same price to auto electrician who MIGHT get it back to stock. ul still have candle orange headlights.

sorted it was a fuse blown i just didnt think of that
^^^ yea sweet i only just learnt about relays so i'l get mine done at work cheers
