Some 100 series had a solid front end. The povo packs that government departments and the defence force used were solids with manual locking hubs. I just went and saw a heap today at auction and will be buying one in a week or two.

The way i see it is, a 105 is still a "100 series".

Just like "70 Series" would include all the 7* models.

105 designates a model within the '100 series'.

so a 105 is a '100' series vehicle.
