Hey guys,

an anyone help me out with finding twin spot callipers for a GQ? Will they bolt straight in? And will a 15inch rim fit with these callipers?

Thanks in advance

I assume you want twin spot fronts ?? I have been told by a mate that runs a dedicated patrol wreckers that gu calipers won't bolt on . Maybe the whole swivel hub assembly will?

i just did this, found that you need to get the backing plate with the calipers, i just hacked mine up as i did not get backing plates. also the caliper bolts rub on the disk when fully tighted so i had to chuck an extra washer in there to pull it back a few mm's. apart from that every bolts on..... gl findin a set of calipers for a good price tho..

Does this conversion make a huge improvement over the single piston caliper to warrant the expense?

Are the rotors larger when the GQ's came out with the twin piston calipers?

i think they a marginly thicker and bigger in diameter, my front brakes where shot and pull up much bettter now, makes a difference when towing aswell.
