V6 and hilux starter problem

Ok i know this is more auto elec, but the people who would have done this dont normally frequent that section so here it goes.

Have a hilux that had a 22r, now its gone to VP V6 and t700 auto, changed shifter setup in it now and am trying to figure out how to do the park neutral wiring.

The selector and wiring for reverse neutral and park is mounted, and has one wire for reverse lights and one for neutral/park. But where the problem in my head lies is that i am not sure how to hook the neutral/park switch up to only allow it to start in neutral or park.

In the manual they say it goes to pin B10 on commodore wiring, only thing is the starter is run off original hilux relay and triggered by ignition barrel as standard and is by no means connected to the commodore computer.

So in a long winded way of asking, how has anyone else hooked up the one wire? Or does anyone have suggestions, as right now my brain hurts and i know the answer is going to be so simple.

Cheers Jack

the neutral/park start switch cuts the curcuit to the starter.
or alternativley allows the starter to activate if in the right position.
you could just use it on the active wire to the starter(little wire on starter motor)

did u sort this out??

Was thinking, find the supply to the hilux relay for the starter, cut it, run another relay and have it triggered by the suto Park/Neutral switch

so it be key to relay main power, triggered by the neutral start switch (is it a earth or power trigger? then this relay triggers the std relay

understand?
