02 Sigle cab steering issue still.

Guys,

I have a 02 single cab hilux, IFS front.
I have now been to 3 different machanics and still the same problem persists. So far every time the idler arm has been replaced and they say all good, it was just the idler are that was worn. On the last effort i have had the upper, lower ball joints replaced and the sway bar mounts replaced. It does drive better however the main problem still remains.
The problem is it has a mind of its own when driving straight. The steering feels real sloppy and i get probably about 2 inches turning the wheel before anything happens.
I have added EFS suspension which lifted it about an inch, but thats all i have really done with the vehicle.
Not sure if it will help if i upload any pics, but if anyone knows or can help me out at all as i really am going on the mechanics word. I live south of brisbane so any help and suggestions will be of extreme help.

There is a flatplade screwdrive thread with a nut that holds it at that tension on the side of the box, undo the nut a turn or so, and wind the flat blade thread in a turn, re tighten, take it for a drive, keep repeating until the steering has minimal slop.

Cant miss it. it adjusts slop in the box, it will fix it for sure if nothing else is causing the problems which it seems like youve replaced everything that could.
