well its just that ive been told by the bloke that supplied them to me said dont put them on the front but on their comp lwb sierra he has them on the front and the back, there almost like a small scissor shackle from piranha .

if theyre pinned shut they will act just like a normal shackle and there wont be dramas... he might have been referring to if theyre open they can twist a fair bit under steering loads and potentially be dangerous?

From what I have read, they may or may not accidently 'open up' when cornering, adding to body roll and making steering dangerous.

he didn't no the answer he only new what they were.
from what iv seen there just drop shackles
iv seen plenty of trucks with them in the front but the ones iv seen they pin up when on road and unpin for off road for that reason that they turn and twist.
