Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Just wondering how wide people have gone of the standard wheel studs.
I`ve got 2" back spaced rims and want to wider by useing wheel spacers,Hopefully another 2"
My diffs are hilux/4runner and only got 36x12.5 tyres
so would the standard studs be strong anough?
