limiting steering with longfields

Guys have fitted longfield super set now wondering can you remove your steering stops to gain a better turning circle .Would this affect the longs has anyone done this mainly with comp vehicles as im running 40 inch comp spec trepadors and a dunny door v6 twin cased lux truggy.

The cv would then be the steering stop, which would effect the strength over time.

on longfeilds website it says they can do 40 degrees.

just be carefull that the steering box is not now the steering stop could cause damage if it was

im not running steering stops dunc but ive blown my steering box twice now.
Im going to install some stops that touch only when at full turn so the shock loading is no longer going through the box.
