Just use a paper filter, any aftermarket one will do. Is it a petrol or diesel engine?

unless its super blocked it wont do much. if anything at all. if you do a search there is info in a thread on here about finer filters etc and there being no real difference for the intended use other than increasing risk of engine wear.
but still good to do as part of regular maintenance.
you could try winding the fuel up a bit, but probably wont do much other than blow more smoke, but you could try it and see if there is more to be had. but research first and make sure you dont over do it.
realistically just turbo it.
