Your right. I've looked everywhere and only found a couple. None of them where Tig/plasmas in one either. It was one or the other.
I think i'll end up getting a Migomag Tig as I know there good welders and i'll probably just get a cheaper plasma cutter as I don't think Migomag make plasmas in single phase and I wont be using the plasma that much.. The Migomag welders all come with 3 and 5 year warrenties to not that i've ever needed it with my mig.

All my welders bar 2 units are now 'Made in China', one is the old 240volt Peerless ( which I havent used for a few years ) and the other is my big SAF 320.
I have a 240amp mig for light stuff @ work, & a 180amp mig at home, both from China... My tig is also from China..... as is my inverter welder.
Basicaly if the china made stuff works when it comes out of the box then you wont have an issue for a few years, ad lets face it, they are cheap to buy AND replace !
Sadly buying things that will "see you out" is a thing from our fathers time

Hi all...Why dont you check out the auctions for some name brand welder and plasma's.Names like Kempi esab ect.All top line stuff all fully rebuildable and last for ever.Second hand at the auctions would be dirt cheap and way better than the chinese crap.

I wouldn't buy a Kempi from an auction unless you really knew what you where looking at. They are expensive to repair. I dont know much about Esab so cant really comment.

Mick,
I have a Liquide Arc Viking STP which are suppose to be Aus. made and are a division of Lincion Electric.

Does 130A Stick, 170A TIG and 35A Plasma and comes with Benzel and named brand accessories.
I have only used it moderately, but does a great job considering my average welding abilities.
