Hey mate, a twin thermo fan setup will do diddley squat for power but it will keep that hand grenade of an engine from exploding as they usually do from overheating..

I believe it would give you very slight power increase, but the standard clutch fan with a shroud would cool your radiator better than the thermos which will also bugger up in water etc. And as for the "hand grenade" call i dont believe its the coolant temp being the problem its more the fact that internal combustion temps get too high without the coolant being able to draw away the heat quick enough in the back of the head due to bad design in the coolant tracks not allowing it to flow fast enough through the back of the head..??

I have looked into it with mine but havnt bothered as i think its a step backwards if anything. Plenty of other mods to do which will get you noticable power increase and also help towards keeping those combustion temps down.

Hey Spitzr

Try putting a straight through muffler on it

I did that with my RD28TD and not only gave it a little bit more power but also reduced the temp aswell.
