JEEP DIFFS

How strong are jeep diffs.Doing a build and not sure wether they will be strong enough for me.Any info would be appreciated.

Jeeps have lots of diffs, depending on the model.
Dana 40s are the go for guts.

We need more info.
What sort of Jeep are you refering to? Jeeps used everything from Dana25 to Dana70 and a few odd balls like Timken too.
Then we need to know what sort of engine is going to dish out the abuse - again everything from 2.2L 4cyl to 6.6L 8cyl.
Lastly what size/type of tyres are we talking? Stock 28" GSA's are a lot kinder on driveline than 54" Boggers.....

I have a couple of Patrol Diifs modified to bolt up straight under a leaf sprung CJ7, brand new 4" lift kit for CJ7, 305 Chev, gearbox, transfer, wheels... Everything must go - Cheap!

er, pardon me for noticing, but did you retube the diff to match the TJ transfer? Or is the pic reversed?

I retubed it to make it passenger side drop to suit the NP231.

And if it were reversed it would be a BRA front bar.
