Cruiser windscreen frame leak

I have a 75 series that's been leaking for a while, since it hasn't been raining a lot it hasn't bothered me too much. Now that it is raining almost every day it's starting to get to me.

I have no plans on having the car too long so don't want to get changed a gazzillion dollars for a replacement frame.

First question, there's no real signs of external rust/holes. Where the hell does the water get in through??

Second question, has anyove ever successfully glued/sealed/filled with expanding foam or some other trick to stop/slow the leak?

yeah dude, its probably one of those things that u might have to live with unfortunately,

my mate has a 75 and put a F.R.P windscreen surround and roof, and the damn thing still leaks like a sieve, i think the best thing to do is get a hose and get sumbody to spray it at your car while ur sitting in it and just try and see where the leak is starting at.

also if ur going to use anything to try and stop tha leak i suggest probably silicone is ur best bet as u can get it off easily at a later date without ruining anything, unlike expandable foam or sikkaflex.

Probably leaking around the rubber the seals the glass, through the seems of the steel, from where the hinges bolt, from the bottom seal. They leak alot. Make sure you have a good door seal against the frame too.

Cheers mate.

Was hoping for a fix that didn't involve removing the overhead console to drop the screen down.
